Conan The Barbarian (1982)

David Hasselhoff as Conan The Barbarian.
Released just 4 months before the TV series Knight Rider began, maybe it would have been just too much awesomeness to see David Hasselhoff pull off two amazing roles back-to-back. Perhaps that's why they decided to hand the role to Arnold Schwarzenegger, the up n' coming 33-year old who following the two Conan-movies managed to bag himself the role as The Terminator. And thank heavens he did.

Nevertheless, I'm still hoping for an alternate universe where we could see The Hoff assume the roles of Conan and quite possibly The Terminator while Arnold is running down those sandy beaches of California holding a rescue can.

Blog on!

For a while now I've had these funny (or sometimes not so funny) ideas about what movies or certain tv-shows were like if, upon casting, they had gone a slightly different path. If The Godfather wasn't Marlon Brando. Had Tom Hanks never offered that box of chocolate. Danny Glover was never too old for that shit, and Kyle MacLachlan never set foot in Twin Peaks as Special Agent Dale Cooper. Thus, a blog was born.

My goal is to simply amuse, add a lil' twist and eventually get some Hollywood studio to actually do a remake with the cast of my choice. So place your bookmarks, because it's gonna happen. I will be starting this task soon.
